Rum Cay also had an all-age school in Port Nelson.

The bicycles were abandoned at the entrance while the students attended school.


This sign with the logo on the left and the schools motto "Success through hard work & cooperation" on the bottom indicates the pride these people have in their all-age school..


We anchored off Conception Island and came ashore. Conception Island is a paradise within paradise in that it is being preserved in its primitive natural state as a part of the Bahamas National Trust. .


There is tidal influence water interior to the Conception Island. The waters outside the island are excellent for snorkeling.


We left Conception Island after a wonderful stay. Jean is returning after going ashore at New Bight, Cat Island for some bread at the local bakery.


The colorful buildings for the Arthur's Town Rake and Scrape Musical Festival.


Yes, we really visited Arthur's Town, Cat Island, Bahamas. The Rake and Scrape Musical Festival was across the street from the Airport. This airport was very busy with private charters both before and after the music festival.
